Easy Home-Made Hummus
Shopping List
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas, drained
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 tspn salt
- 1/4 tspn ground cumin
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbspns olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
- paprika to garnish (optional)
Instructions
Place all ingredients, except cilantro and paprika in a food processor and mix well for about 2 minutes or until ingredients are all mixed well and pureed. Add 1/4 cup water if necessary.
Place in bowl and sprinkle with paprika and cilantro.
Serve with some cucumber cut length wise and/or pita bread (I like to toast it, it adds more flavour to it).
